#Followup to October's post: I was carrying paperwork back and forth from work on the off chance that one of my #flights would be #delayed and I would be stuck in Calgary where I could take care of it. Then my #mom sent me that video on #clutter and I decided to take #action. . When I left the #courthouse 6 weeks ago the clerk said that they usually find some small #errors in the #paperwork that need to be corrected prior to granting #judgment. Needless to say I wasn't expecting to actually be #divorced when I opened my #mail yesterday. But hey check it out. . It's been a few years and I didn't #think it'd make a #difference #emotionally but it does #feel kinda good. #Bartender I'd like to buy a round of drinks for the house! #cheers
It might sound #ridiculous to wake up at 6 am Sunday morning, #hike to the top of fish lake peak, have a #beer with a good friend and wait an hour+ to watch the sunrise in below -20°C. But it's oddly rewarding and worth the #experience. Highly suggest? Maybe?... Maybe not? Maybe more with a forecast of #northernlights. . If you know, you know. Now to wait 6-8 weeks. (WARNING: I READ THROUGH IT AND THE FOLLOWING NOVEL IS PRETTY MUCH A GIANT OVERSHARE. TLDR IS TOTALLY ENCOURAGED, I JUST WANTED TO SAY THANKS. NO NEED TO CARRY ON, I STILL <3 YOU. GO ON, RUN ALONG.) . Thanks #mom (@kathyangelatos) for sharing that video link on #clutter a few weeks ago with your darling #children. I know it wasn't meant to imply anything and I took the definition a different way but it did #motivate me to speed up the pace and work on some #emotional and #physical clutter I haven't been dealing with steadily enough. I've taken some big steps at home last week, but today was a big day for your little man! (REALLY COULD OF STOPPED THERE, BUT THAT'S NOT REALLY ME, IS IT?) . Also thanks @withgoldenwings you've been there with a place to #rest right and where I needed it at a few very interesting events in my life. Thank you and Chris so verry verry much. (OR YOU KNOW, EVEN HERE WOULD'VE WORKED. HEART MEET YOUR SLEEVE.) . And while I'm at it, a big big thanks @brmac04, @the_thomps, @frazershellon, @quanvict, @onemanwolfgang and the many other work #humans who have had the "pleasure" of working through this life with me over the years. That goes for the rest of my family to but you don't get a choice (well you do I won't take it away from anyone, but do you really? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) And of course the #countless other humans I've met along the way. Each human no matter how often or if we still talk or not has come with some important #lessons! Thank you! The last three years have been by far the most #interesting and #intense #educational #experience of my life so far. I went from feeling like I didn't have emotions to being plagued by them. Here's to many more #journeys with the lot of you! 🍺 . (IDK, HAVING A HARD TIME STOPPING. THE NEXT PERSON DESERVES A MENTION.) A very special thanks to @aussiesho. My mom taught me what she could until you took the perverbial torch and I thank you for doing what you could, The responsibility should of been in my hands from the beginning and I'll take it to the finish line. (I WARNED YOU ALL DIDN'T I. IF YOU KNOW ME YOU PRETTY MUCH KNEW ALL THAT ALREADY, HAVE A GOOD DAY.)
As of yesterday I have officially been in all three of #canada's oceans and have checked off the last few items on my #crosscountry #roadtrip #bucketlist. I did not regret it short term and will not regret it long term. . Sometimes you just have to take time off from #life to #live. I'm truly #grateful that I have had the #opportunity to and have treated my days off as a mini #retirement s as I've #wandered. I've learnt so much met so many amazing #humans and look forward to all the #lessons life throws at me going forward. . Time to build some furniture and establish myself at #home and within the #community. Who knows what's next but I'm #excited for it. . Yesterday is #history, tomorrow is a #mystery but today is a #gift. #thanks for coming with me. #cheers #noregrets #arcticocean #2019

I am so #happy to announce I am no longer without a place to call #home. I'd like to thank everyone around the country who had put me up while I was traveling across #Canada and #welcome you to my place anytime! Three years ago, I gave away everything (almost) I owned and have been #wandering around finding pieces myself. Last year driving across the entire country (and flying to a couple others) visiting every province and territory really helped. I've learned that no matter how much you learn there is always #anotherlesson waiting for you, so keep #pushingyourself, #experience everything you can, #eat everything, #love everything, forget your #fears, make #friends, make #mistakes and #laugh at yourself. For the first time in my life I will be living alone and am beyond #excited to have this space to #learn and #grow. I have a place to call home, it's time to go through and cull what I have left and fill gaps with what I decide will make this my home. Welcome!
